*Minimum Requirements :*
Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to liaise with
business analysts, QA, and business
8+ years experience in a Java developer role, ideally in the
alternatives/hedge fund space.
Strong Development background working with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate,
UNIX Scripting (e.g. Python, Perl, Shell), . & Relational DB (some PL/SQL)
technologies
Candidate must hava SOME experience in investment domain - comfortable with
technology concepts and have education and work experience supporting both.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in technology and/or finance
Knowledge of asset management industry with hedge fund/alternative focus
being a plus.
Experience working with Agile methodology a strong plus
Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills
Experience with MarkIT (Cadis) EDM or similar Master Data Management suite
is a plus.
Ability to work well in a cross functional/global team
VB & .Net experience is a plus.
