Position : Java Developer (Mid level)
Location : Silver Spring, MD
Duration : 6 Month
*Required Skills*
- 3+ years experience supporting Java-based applications especially in
support of scientific data and web services.
- Experience with Java, Linux, RDBMS (Oracle 9i/8i, Sybase, PostgreSQL),
software requirements gathering, full life cycle software development,
Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and software debugging.
- Must have good communication skills and work well in a team
environment. Scripting (Bash, perl), FORTRAN, C/C++, J2EE, web programming,
and web user interface design, preferred.
- Experience with data decoders, data ingestion, a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security
badge to enter the applicable government facility.
