The Senior SAP Functional Analyst will support the Data Warehouse team by
applying functional SAP BW/BI/ECC knowledge and technical expertise for
global Data Warehouse development. The Senior SAP Analyst will be involved
in all aspects of the software product life cycle including requirements
gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation,
maintenance, user support and documentation.
Accountable for ensuring alignment of complex analytical reporting to SAP
source system using best practice techniques. The ideal candidate will have
previous experience coordinating multiple development streams across a
broad spectrum of global stakeholders. Candidate must have a financial
background to serve as functional lead for 250+ Financial Report creation.
*Key Tasks and Activities:*
Analyzes SAP modules (BI, BW, ECC) to meet business needs for end user
reporting
Provides SAP system expertise to apply to a media, financial, advertising
environment
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs to ensure
efficient, accurate and secure use
Leads workshops, demos and JAD sessions with Business Subject Matter
Experts, Business Analysts and SAP Solution Analyst to achieve global
analytical reporting solution.
Provides functional support and system knowledge to detect and diagnose
problems related to the business process
Analyzes and develops custom queries and reports in support of business
issues in conjunction with onshore and offshore development teams.
Acts as liaison between key business areas and IT to educate users on both
applications and technology and enable business process change
Trains and supports Bas, development team and users regarding use of SAP
Works to improve manual and automated processes
Participates on projects to ensure that deliverables adhere to design
requirements and specifications
Production support of analytical, SAP based reporting – issue resolution,
enhancements, authorizations, root cause analysis.
*Required Minimum Qualifications:*
Minimum of 5 years working with SAP BW, BI, ECC modules
