onlyResponsibilities*Participates in all technical aspects of software
development for assigned applications; Participates in hands-on
architecture, analysis, design, and development of systems
Functions as a member of an agile team and helps drive consistent
development practices – tools, common components, and documentation
Develops deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms
within the supported domains
Typically spends 70-80% of time writing code and testing, and remainder of
time collaborating with stakeholders through ongoing product/platform
releases
Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability
Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
*Required Skills:-*This high energy Software Engineer must have:
Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile or other rapid application
development methods
Demonstrated experience with Mainframe - JCL, COBOL is required
Demonstrated experience in DB2 (Stored Procedure, Data Replication,
Performance Tuning) is required
Demonstrated experience in coding native SQL and Stored Procedures is
required.
Experience with Middleware Utilities (e.g., Data Power, MQ/MQ Series) is a
plus
Demonstrated experience with Job scheduling (e.g, Job Trac, Control M) is
required
Experience with REXX, SYNCSORT, File-Aid, Xpediter, and Easytrieve is a
plus
Experience with web services and open API development, as well as SOA
concepts, is a plus
Experience with fraud and customer privacy domain is a plus
Knowledge of Object Oriented programming (e.g., Pega, Java, .NET) is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and
business product managers on solution design
Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems
Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation
Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how
fast they develop working software
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or
other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
