This position requires strong business and technology consulting and
analysis skills in support of the Global Data Office and its development of
an integrated Big Data platform. The Business Analyst should be ready to
jump on to a Scrum team and participate with the analysis of complex and
challenging problems pertaining to the creation of a new platform solution
linking and profiling traditionally disparate data assets using
non-traditional, newer disruptive technologies and approaches.
The right candidate must be able to manage and deal with high levels of
ambiguity with positive energy and enthusiasm.
Life Sciences industry experience is preferred, but not required.
Innovative web-based software development using the Agile Scrum method is
required.
They must be able to demonstrate their ability to guide the user in
identifying business requirements, processes, and workflows with proven
experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, and
verification, and the ability to apply them in practice.
*Requirements: *
3+ years experience with Agile
5+ years BA experience
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical
audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences.
Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business
writing skills.
Strong collaboration skills. Strong relationship building and facilitation
skills.
Keen attention to detail; Time and self-organization
Proven meeting and conversation facilitation techniques to lead elicitation
workshops
