*Jobtitle : Hadoop Developer*
*Location : Houston, TX*
*Duration : 12+ Months Contract*
*They MUST have previous Hortonworks experience!!!*
*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:*
Bachelor’s degree in an accredited four-year college or university or
equivalent work experience.
5 or more years experience as an application and/or database developer.
Experience developing/implementing Hadoop clusters with Hortonworks Data
Platform is a must
At least 2 years experience with the following:
- Hadoop Ecosystem: Hive, Sqoop, PIG
- Java Development
- Python Scripts
Experience doing incremental imports of data from RDBMS to HDFS/HIVE using
SQOOP.
Experience debugging errors while running map reduce programs.
Must be open to local travel and occasional travel within the US.
Must be a strong problem-solver, and a team player
