JAVA resource needed for time bound project. Write and modify application
code based on requirement, enhancement and production support. Collaborate

*General Job Description: *
Write and modify application code based on requirement, enhancement and
production support with focus on maintenance and modification. Create
interfaces with other systems. Collaborate development activity with other
team members. Create technical specification and other documents as
required.
*Specific Tasks and deliverables:*
• Create specification, design and integrate interfaces with internal and
external systems.
• Design, develop and write application code to include change as requested.
• Research, analyze, write and modify application code based on release
requests including enhancements and defect fixes.
• Provide emergency release and production support.
• Update quality center defects including test steps; code change to build
the knowledge base.
• Collaborate development and integration activities with other team
members and other groups.
• Understand requirement to write efficient application code. Review
application server issues and provide resolution.
• Write and modify application code. Higher maintenance.
*Required Experience and Skills:*
• JAVA consultants with 7 to 10 years of experience with complex, large
scale application development and support using Java and Oracle based
technologies.
• 5+ years working experience with JAVA/JEE, JAVA design patterns, its
related technologies for web based development.
• 5+ years experience and integration using Struts, Spring, ORM tool like
Hibernate, JPA and Web Services is required.
• 5+ years working experience with SQL, PL/SQL with Oracle backend is
required.
• 2+ years experience creating technical design like class diagram and
sequence diagram is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Weblogic, JDeveloper, Oracle ADF, UNIX
Shell Scripting and UML are strongly preferred.
• Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement and ER
diagram/data model into technical design and application code.
• Knowledge and experience of creating common framework and classes are
strongly preferred.
• Candidate should be an excellent team player and independently able to
research and provide resolution for production support. Must work as a team
player and an excellent communication skill is required.
*Required Technical Skills: *
• 5+ years - JEE based Application development, Java, JSP, AJAX,
JavaScript, JAVA design patterns, HTML, Servlet, JDeveloper, Weblogic
Application Server, application support and monitoring.
• 5+ years – Real time development and integration with Struts, Hibernate,
Spring, JPA, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and JSP technologies is required.
• 5+ years - Oracle 10g or higher, SQL writing and tuning, PL/SQL
programming.
• 4+ years – Translate functional requirement and ER diagram/data model
into application code.
• 2+ years – Writing technical design specification using UML sequence
diagram and class diagram.
*Desired Additional Skills: *
• 2+ Years - Oracle ADF and Oracle Application Server.
• 2+ Years - Web Service development, XML file handling.
• 2+ Years - Functional knowledge and experience working with financial
accounting systems.
• 2+ Years – Scheduling (automation) of scripts and creating of cross
system interfaces.
