Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Below is a position we have for a Sr. Business Analyst Location - North Quincy, MA Duration – 12 Months The Senior Business Analyst duties include reviewing, assessing, documenting and assisting in the development of business procedures to be used by the Merit Rating Board. The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing oversight, coordination and support for projects related to the development and automation of business procedures. Primary Responsibilities • Capture and document detailed business, functional and data requirements in a manner that is traceable, testable and verifiable. • Perform integrated business process modeling for operational procedures, including problem identification, process improvements and efficiencies. • Review use cases and other contract deliverables to verify that functionality aligns with documented business requirements. • Evaluate the impact of change requests on program scope and business areas. • Identify and document change requests, risks, issues and decisions made. • Assist with and advise of the need for changes to current MRB policies and procedures that may be impacted by project implementations and provide technical assistance to MRB staff towards this effort. • Develop and monitor time and task plans; confirm that business requirements are met. • Review project plans with MRB and any relevant stakeholders to ensure the project initiative is aligned to obtain maximum participation and positive impact. Collaborate, as needed, with all stakeholders. • Facilitate regular meetings of internal stakeholders and external partners and prioritize work responsibilities. • Act as a liaison between departmental management, end-users, developer, consultants and other governmental organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of business process systems. • Analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensure that the system design fits the needs of the users. • Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed procedures for permanent records and for use in training. • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or operational changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes. • Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and document business procedures. • Create and execute user acceptance test cases and test datasets to validate system functionality. • Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff. • Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions covering assigned systems modules. • Conduct analysis of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural and technical; develop policy and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service; develop information system documentation to support efficient operations; prepare reports and written findings and recommendations; and monitor changes. Minimum Qualifications Education, Skills and Competencies: Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to solicit requirements from a wide variety of Subject Matter Experts Interacts well with business users/technical team/project managers/senior management/vendors Experience with Use Case design/analysis/specifications Business case development Proven business analysis skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Project Excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Experience with user acceptance testing of software Desirables Project management experience Experience using the Agile methodology Experience working as a team member on a large project Experience working in a mainframe environment, ideally using CICS and database software such as IDMS Exposure to business requirements modeling techniques including Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and service modeling Skilled in process improvement methodologies and problem solving processes, such as root cause analysis and analysis of performance variance in procedural design Experience with web applications including the use of Web Services Thanks & regards Moiz Khan Allied Informatics Inc. 1815 Satellite Blvd. Suite 302 Duluth, GA 30097 USA.
