*Job Description:*
looking for an experienced Software Engineer (PHP) to be a part of its
flagship web-app maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will have:
• extensive knowledge of web development
• developed and deployed at least one mission-critical
web-application
• provided ongoing support for at least one mission-critical app
The position involves working with Product, UI/UX and middleware
development teams to design and implement applications to specifications.
*Responsibilities:*
• Maintain flagship PHP-based application
• Test, debug fix and document legacy code
• Work with Product Management team to release hot-fixes and
patches.
*Required Skills:*
• 5-7+ years of experience developing software
• Advanced PHP skills (esp. debugging PHP applications)
• Working knowledge of Linux, Bash shell and Secure shell (ssh,
putty)
• Working knowledge of MySQL Database
• Working knowledge of REST Web-Services
• Working knowledge of Rule Engines
• Basic cryptography (encryption, decryption, hashing)
• Ability to hand-craft HTML/CSS pages
• Solid HTML/CSS skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Knowledge of secure programming practices
• Git version control
*Useful Skills:*
• PHP Frameworks (Zend, Symfony)
• Working knowledge of Workflow engines
• Exposure to SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
