*Primary Skills: *
Candidates must be proficient with *standard Java and/or python development*,
*open source frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, build tools (like ANT,
Maven) and popular IDEs such as Eclipse*. Some exposure or experience with
the *NodeJS development stack is a plus* (*npm, MongoDB, Express, Mocha*
etc).
Senior *Back-End Developers at Isobar must have IT consulting experience*,
be familiar with a team approach to execution, possess effective written
and verbal communication skills, and be willing to travel.

*Required Experience / Skills*
- CONSULTING EXPERIENCE
- Completed *at least three full professional software engineering
projects across multiple platforms*
- *Have core Java (JDK 1.6+) and python 2.6+ expertise*
- Expert in object-oriented and functional programming concepts
- Proficiency with:
- software design fundamentals and design patterns
- web languages, including *HTML and JavaScript*
- *relational database fundamentals* (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Understanding of *web application concepts and HTTP protocols*
- Experience:
- working with *open source frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)*
- with enterprise application servers (*Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM
WebSphere, JBoss*)
- with *build tools (Maven, ANT) *and continuous integration
- Understanding of *ORM concepts* or experience with an
implementation (*Hibernate
or other JPA*)
- Some exposure or experience with *NodeJS and NPM is a plus*
*Nice to Have*
- Experience with:
- various Spring modules (MVC, Aspects, Security, Data, Core, etc.)
- alternate scripting languages (Perl, PHP, Groovy, Ruby, etc.)
- mobile platforms (Android, iOS)
- non-relational or document-oriented database technologies
- profiling, tuning and optimizing JEE web applications
- a major CMS package (Percussion, Day or Java-based enterprise CMS)
- Familiarity with source control concepts (Subversion or Git)
- Experience in different development environments (Agile, Waterfall,
etc.)
- Experience writing complex RDBMS queries and procedures
