Development, Analysis, Testing, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
tools.
Expertise in the following Business Intelligence tools
Cognos Workspace, Cognos Workspace Advanced, Report Studio, Framework
Manager, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Transformer, Event Studio,
Datastage.
• Expertise in Metadata modeling using Framework Manager for complex
reports in Report Studio and Query Studio.
• Expertise in designing models in Transformer, building OLAP Powerplay
cubes and reports in Powerplay Studio/Analysis Studio for multidimensional
analysis.
• Expertise in working as a Cognos Admin which involves installing,
configuring and maintaining Cognos applications on multiple servers.
• Expertise in working with the business, gathering requirements,
creating technical and functional specifications, defining scope, providing
timelines, working independently, within a team and leading a team in
completing assignments.
• Expertise in working with individuals and teams (Offshore and Onsite)
on deliverable such as coding, testing, migration, documentation and
knowledge transfer.
• Expertise in writing PL/SQL Stored procedures, Views, Triggers, and
Packages using Oracle.
• Expertise in Performance tuning of Cognos Reporting
• Experience in Data Modeling and working with the ETL developers and
DBA’s to create tables, views and packages for the Cognos reporting needs.
• Experience in ETL tools like Datastage/Informatica.
• Knowledge of IBM Metadata components like Business Glossary, Metadata
workbench.
Green Card Holders or US Citizens are preferred.
