*ServiceNow Developer* *Client: Ecolab* *Location: Naperville, IL (must sit onsite for entire duration of the project)* *Start Date: Immediate* *No H1B !!* *Skills:* - The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and customization. - Applicants with additional experience administering and configuring ServiceNow are preferred. - Position is considered a technology subject matter expert responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software projects within the ServiceNow enterprise application suite. - Candidate should have an advanced understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes; experience working closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and process owners to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop ServiceNow functionality. - This role is responsible for modifications to core functionality, existing ITSM applications, creation of new applications and understanding the various system integration needs. - This is achieved by collaborating with ServiceNow System Administration and key stakeholder teams to analyze and understand requirements, then transforming the requirements into a maintainable solution that meets those requirements. *JOB DUTIES:* - Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include modifications of applications, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required to support ITIL processes; - Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis; - Build and execute test scripts and validate results to ensure that configuration/customization meeting process owners needs - Execute and refine the software development lifecycle (including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) of ServiceNow applications and modifications; - Communicate with managers, end users, and process owners frequently to establish requirements and guide development. - Provide meaningful Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) to management through the creation of strategically crafted reports - Works with customer(s) to provide hands-on first level support.
