Job Title: Build Software Engineer Location : Arlington VA Duration : 6+ Months Contract
Build Software Engineer This engineer focuses on build, deploy, and configuration management systems. Will require building a pipeline to manage image repositories, perform on-demand builds, understand gitflow, and work with the cloud software engineers to build an orchestration and automation system. Aim is to build a complete hand’s-off CI/CD system for continuous deployment to AWS. -Must have Jenkins experience and have 1 provable in-production deployment of a real system deploying to AWS. -Must have experience with most of the AWS primary verbs (VPC, EC2, ElasticCache, SNS, SQS, ELB, RDS, Security Groups, S3). Bonus points for codedeploy and lambda. -Must be able to program in Python and be able to pass a simple programming and algorithm test. -Must have experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment strategies. -Must have experience using botocore2 and botocore3. -Must have experience with Groovy (custom Jenkins plugins) -Must have experience with Git and Gitflow. -Must have experience with Chef and/or Ansible. -Must have passing experience with Docker and the Docker ecosystem (ie, building images, packer, image repositories, orchestration tools).
