Must be able to write code that utilizes the latest design patterns and best practices in a test-driven development environment. Ensures back end scalability and front-end design integrity. Collaborate with UX Designers, BAs, QA engineers, and product owners to develop continuous product enhancements and releases. Research new technologies, build prototypes. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Minimum: 5+ years of working in Java in an enterprise setting. 5 years hand-coding JavaScript , (Must have written your own JavaScript framework or plugins and think in object notation.) 2+ years working as a Senior Engineer on high-profile public-facing mobile/tablet applications, with documented and proven track record. Ability to write clean and semantic HTML5, CSS3 . Experienced in consuming and creating APIs and web services (REST and SOAP). Experience with OOP. Experience with Grails is desired. Experience working with Spring. Need to have extensively focused on security. 5+ years Exp in creating databases, written queries, and stored procedures. Experience with MySQL and Oracle is a must. Plus: Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with Scrum. Experience with paired programming is a plus. Java (SCJP) certification is desired. Angular, Backbone, Node.JS is a plus.
