Job Title : Ab Initio Consultant
Location : Salt Lake City, UT
Duration : 6-12 Months Contract
Job Description:
8+ years of experience in working with Ab Initio as an ETL Tool.
Expertise in important abinitio components, Parallelism, Dependency
Analysis, Metaprogramming, PDL, EME commands, generic graphs etc.
Should have extensive knowledge about Abinitio Architecture, best practices
and performance tuning techniques.
Knowledge of ICFF, Data profiling, Conduct>IT, Express>IT (ACE /
BRE),Continuous flow, XML processing is a big plus.
Good experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting
Experience in any of the scheduling tools like Autosys, Control-M etc.
Strong Data warehousing concepts and good Analytical skills.
Expertise in Requirement analysis, Proposal, Estimation, Project scoping,
Design, Review, Test strategy preparation, Release planning etc.
Should be able to provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more
projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and
sizing of work; implement the solutions; create technology differentiation;
leverage partner technologies; participate in competency development with
the objective of ensuring best-fit and high quality technical solutions and
creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization
and in compliance with guidelines.
Should be able to take complete ownership to drive his own deliverables and
the team's deliverables on time and with quality.
Should be able to work in demanding customer environment and work with
large teams in global delivery model.
Should have Excellent communication skills.
Should have Agile project/program management experience.
Thorough knowledge on Release Management Process in abinitio and can
suggest automations
Strong knowledge on automation in abinitio environment
Should be able to define industry level performance standards and publish
guidelines on ensuring high performance of applications in abinitio.
