Please find the below Job Description and let me know your interest ASAP..!! *Position: Big Data Analytics Developer* *Location: St. Louis, MO* *Duration: 12 months * *Send resumes to a...@clearthoughtsolutions.com <a...@clearthoughtsolutions.com>* *Need EAD OPT/GC, GC and USC Only* *Manager Notes* - Looking for a hard core engineer with logical, technical, computational and mathematical depth. • Java or Scala experience • They need to have very strong experience with one of the following - Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra – some type of Big Data • They need to be able to think through problem and come up with possible solutions. • All development will be done on AWS (Google Cloud, Azure) • They need someone who really has passion about Big Data and technology in general • They have to be adaptable, flexible and respect other opinions and support what decisions are made by the group to move forward since the decisions are made by the group working on the project. • They have very little process. • They are moving to 100% cloud. • They have 172 servers right now and 40+TB. *POSITION REQUIREMENTS:* o Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and 4 years of experience o 2+ years experience with Statistical & Mathematical programming packages (R, Matlab, Python, etc…) o Experience using standard analytical approaches in machine learning, bayesian learning, MCMC, simulation, decision science, etc… o Experience manipulating and processing big data sets o Experience with relational and non-relational datastores • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to express complex business and scientific concepts to a lay audience *DESIRED EXPERIENCE:* o Functional and object oriented programming experience (Scala, Java, Clojure, o C++, etc..) o Familiarity with agricultural business and financial markets o Experience with Agile methodologies *Team:* • They are self-organized and self-managed teams. • They are doing all new development • Every day is filled with innovation. • They have a cue they put possible projects in and they when the project is up to be worked on then the manager sends it out and people volunteer to work on it. • There are usually 3-4 people.
