This role requires a seasoned Test Management professional. Background in
System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is
key. Can plan, lead and execute testing efforts on a large, complex,
technical project. Partnership with all levels of program resources is key
(developers, test coordinators, test analysts, project managers, business
SME’s and outside vendors).hjgjhghjf
Project scope is to upgrade a platform from IE8 to IE11; all IE-related
applications running on the platform will need to be assessed, remediated
(if necessary), and certified on IE11. Over 100 applications are running
on the platform.
• Possess at least 7 years Testing/QA experience with 5+ years in test
management/co-ordination
Technical/Functional Skills
• Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center (ALM)
• Possesses a solid understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts,
metrics analysis, methodologies, and documentation standards
• CSTE or CSQA Certification would be a great benefit
Experience Required • Possess at least 7 years Testing/QA experience
• Possess at least 5 years leading SIT and UAT
• Possess at least 3 years of banking industry experience
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in a distributed environment
• Experience testing with outside vendors a plus
• Experienced in infrastructure upgrades
• Experience leading a diverse team of testers
• Experience testing with outside vendors a plus
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams
Roles & Responsibilities • Develop high-quality functional SIT and UAT test
strategies
• Oversee the planning and successful completion of SIT
• Plan and lead the successful completion of UAT
• Coordination with Performance Test Lead as applicable for project scope
• Drive functional test execution and manage testing resources
• Review test documents
• Lead the creation of the UAT test plan and approvals
• Lead the creation of Test Calendar
• Plan and coordinate the layout of the functional test phases and test
cycles
• Plan and estimate resource needs and efforts
• Organize and secure functional test resources including LOB and IT
testers, approvers, outside vendor resources, environment support
resources, etc.
• Work to secure test environments for all applications involved in
end-to-end testing
• Ensure automated defect management and tracking
Generic Managerial Skills • Status Reporting
• Plan and conduct functional test planning, status and Exit Gateway
meetings
• Coordinate application teams with other interfacing applications to
perform testing and resolve issues
• Coordinate application teams in the creation, maintenance and execution
of test cases and business scenarios
• Communication point for Developers, Testers, Coordinators, Project
Managers, outside Vendors, Lines of Business and Lead Test Manager
• Escalate testing defects, problems, and issues to Project Manager for
timely resolution
• Provide Roll Up testing metrics to program
• Ensure requirements traceability to test cases and test results
• Participate in the development of post UAT defect remediation action plans
