Architecture (EA) knowledge team to migrate EA artifacts including business
process, business domains, technology capabilities and application
inventory to a new Repository Tool.
*Education and years of experience*
• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems
or other related filed
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience with an emphasis on data analysis,
data extraction, transformation and migration.
*Required Skills:*
Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Proficient understanding of
Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and Enterprise Architecture
Frameworks
Excellent interaction skills including facilitation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group
Proficient in data analysis and modeling
Experience in data integration processes and tools
Hands on experience supporting enterprise application inventory
Hands on experience configuring EA Repository platform including Metamodel
and GUI
Experience in organization functional decomposition and process mapping
Specific requirements:
Hands on experience in data modeling, data capture and report generation
using MS Access
MS SQL Server experience is Plus
Strong data analysis and data modeling skills
Hands on experience using SQL
Experience with source to target data mapping
Experience with data extraction and transformation tools
Experience with data migrations between repositories/data stores
Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and functions
Duties and Accountabilities:
Migrate various EA artifacts from different sources and formats including
MS Access DB, Excel Sheet, VISIO and PowerPoint to the target EA Repository
Tool including business domains, subdomains functions, business processes,
application inventory, technology standards, and technology capabilities
and sub-capabilities
Ability to configure the EA Repository tool including Metamodel and GUI
across its modules
Conduct source to target mapping for integration with external data
sources such as CMDB
Develop the interface code taking into account agreed design and data points
Work with stakeholders to validate data objects migrated in the repository
Participate in the testing activities, resolve issues, find root causes and
take necessary steps to prevent them from happening again
Prepare and maintain user guidelines and procedures documents for access
the repository objects and artifacts
