Job Title: *Linux System Admin Build/Release Experience* Location: Northern, NJ Duration: 6-9 months *Requirements:* Min 5 years of experience administering mid to large scale Linux environment. Creation of run books for documenting deployments and technical changes. Troubleshooting technical production incidents and bugs Analyze logs Solid knowledge of shell scripting and at least one scripting language Must be adaptable and able to focus on the simplest, most efficient & reliable solutions Experience supporting client facing web applications Comfortable and confident when speaking with clients as a technical expert Familiarity & Understanding of Linux operating systems and command line Ability to automate repeatable tasks via scripting using tools such as Chef or Puppet Ability to administer common Linux services (HTTPD, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP) *Specifics:* 3-5 years of RedHat Experience 5+ years of Linux admin experience Shell scripting experience with Python, Perl, etc. is a nice to have.
