BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION PROJECT
*This is a 5 year global project*
Basically consists of 3 tracks:
1.) Re-engineering Business Processes
2.) Oracle R12 upgrade
3.) Re-build of their internal custom applications
*Sr. Back-End Developer – Cassandra / Java*
Requirements:
· 8+ Years of development experience in a Java environment,
preferably experience with web-based java applications
*· 2 years of development experience with Apache Cassandra database*
*· Solid ability to write CQL queries*
*· Solid ability to Model in Cassandra*
Pluses:
· Familiarity with Inversion of Control (IoC) and Aspect Oriented
Programming (AOP) and frameworks, preferable the Spring framework.
· Some knowledge of ADF
· Building RESTful API’s that interact with Cassandra (or NoSQL)
Responsibilities:
· Manage and support the development and implementation of custom
software applications
· Provide realistic cost, effort and duration estimates for
software development activities
· End-to-end ownership of discrete development activities (budget,
schedule, functionality, quality, technical realization)
· Provide team leadership towards the completion of development
activities on-schedule within budget and per quality expectations
· Liaise with the Program Management function of the department to
provide project estimates, scheduling and completion updates to the
customers
· Oversee activity of staff to ensure that production problems are
resolved quickly, ensuring continued accurate system operations. At the
team level, meet service level agreements for production support response
and resolution.
· Drive adherence to best practice development processes
· Act as the project manager of small scale development projects
