*If interested then please send update resume along with below information.* *Full Name: * *Email: * *Phone: * *Location: * *Visa: * *Rate: * *Face to face: * *Client: ikaSystems* *Title: SQL DBA* *Duration: 12 months* *Location: Southborough, MA* Candidates must be US citizens or Green Card Holders What you will do in this role: · Install, configure and upgrade SQL Server environments · Establish sound backup and recovery policies and procedures as needed · Work with IT and business teams to address issues specific to the database/application · Work on performance issues with various business teams · Perform periodic database refreshes · Monitor system performance and evaluate areas to improve efficiency · Specifies proper types of files organization, indexing methods, and security procedures · Preform database change requests, patches, monitoring tools, and resolve exceptions, alerts and issues · Address a variety of database issues including integration, maintenance/conversion, capacity planning, and new applications; diagnose and resolve complex problems in a production environment · Maintain database security · Monitor the performance of the database system and implement required changes to increase performance · Provide trend analysis to support informed decisions regarding resource allocation management; maintain up-to-date documentation of all SQL Server environments. · Maintain availability and integrity of databases through multiple access schemes; facilitate sharing of common data by overseeing proper key and index management and data dictionary maintenance · Maintain replication · Maintain ETL repositories (ODI, SSIS, etc.) · Manage permission and access to all environments (Database, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) Required Skills What you will need for this position: · Minimum 5 years’ experience as a SQL Server DBA (2008R2 min, 2012 preferred) · Experience with backup and recovery procedures required · Experience with Golden Gate (or similar tool – i.e., Data Mirror) nice to have · Experience with ODI or SSIS is required as an Administrator · Replication technology experience · Administration of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS nice to have · Able to communicate effectively to multiple levels of an organization, including internal, customers, and vendors · Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups · Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities · The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward · Experience working with a virtual team environment is a plus · Excellent communication, writing, meeting facilitation and presentation skills · BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience · SQL Server Certification is a plus · Willingness to work 40-hour per week position plus additional scheduled, on-call hours *--------* *Thanks,* *Bhanu Pratap Singh* *Source InfoTech Inc.* W: *609-917-3310*| F: 732-909-2282| Email: *bh...@sourceinfotech.com* <bh...@sourceinfotech.com> | Website: *www.sourceinfotech.com* <http://www.sourceinfotech.com/> | -- -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
