*Location: MOORESVILLE, NC*
*Duration: 4 Months*
Scope of Project
•IBM Websphere Commerce Development (V7)
•Management Center experience a plus for customizations
•Customer Segmentation/Promotions experience also a plus
•75% of time to be spent on Developing Restfull Services
•25% of time in maintaining and managing existing Objects or Services
Job Description
•Coding, testing and analyzing application software
•Improve existing code to ensure optimal functionality of web applications.
•Maintain existing programs and applications
•Evaluate and increase application software effectiveness
•Technology competencies could include: Java, HTML, CSS, ASP, .NET, and
Tibco.
•collaborate and work closely with business analysts and team members to
provide IT and business-specific knowledge and expertise, and create
solutions that are aligned with business directives.
•Work closely with testers to spot bugs in programming code and fix any
resulting issues.
•Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Requirements
•5+ Years IBM Websphere Commerce Experience
•8+ years of Java Development Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, CIS, or related field.
•Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field preferred.
•8-10 years of experience in enterprise projects within the architectural
domain.
•Experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement
involving broad-based information systems, utilizing tools and techniques
to effect business change; business systems analysis experience.
•Significant experience, in architectural management of multiple core
component areas, migration planning, and project management of
infrastructure projects.
•Demonstrated experience in translating business strategies, across several
business units, into effective solutions
