Programmer Analyst - Netsuite - Redwood City, CA *Posting Title: **Programmer Analyst - Netsuite * *City: **Redwood City, CA* *Job Type: **1 Year Contract* *Interview type: **In Person* Internal Notes: As much Netsuite customization as possible, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SQL, Excel *Work Experience: **10 years* *Job Description: **The primary role of the Sr. Programmer Analyst is twofold*: · Manage and improve the data and data flow related to revenue processing and other financial processes through operational support and through the delivery of new NetSuite release projects. The Sr. Programmer Analyst will monitor process execution, check for data exceptions and perform updates to data and systems as required to support financial teams. · Support the configuration, integration with and extraction of data from NetSuite to support business process and management reporting and analytics solutions. The NetSuite Developer will work closely with Business Intelligence development teams, Systems Analysts and business stakeholders to create technical solutions based upon NetSuite to meet their data processing and reporting needs. Deliverables include the construction of an AR Aging report and additional reports for revenue analytics over the course of the project. *Responsibilities:* · *Process Execution and Monitoring* o Track and manage defined IT production processes as part of revenue processing o Document issues and escalate to IT and Finance leads when exceptions occur · *System Updates and Data Management* o Update data, configuration and system as required to correct exceptions and errors under the guidance of IT and Finance teams o Update saved searches and reports for KPIs and business analysis o Create additional data objects and mappings within NetSuite to realize business data needs · *Requirements collection and analysis* o Work with Systems Analysts for NetSuite and other systems and domain areas to understand technical requirements o Translate requirements in the form of user stories and translate to technical tasks for execution as part of NetSuite system release process o Work with quality engineering teams to complete appropriate test case documentation · *Process Improvement* o Work with system leads, solution architects, system analysts and business teams to make incremental changes to business and system processes to improve quality and efficiency of financial IT processes o Use experience to bring in best practices, including migration of scripts and other changes from sandboxes to production environments · *Administration and Documentation* o Log issues found within tracking system and run reports tracking status o Document processes, working with technical and financial subject matter experts to ensure that processes are properly captured, as a baseline to enable improvements to be made o Document lessons learned during month end processes to identify successful and unsuccessful process and system elements as a means to improve o Creation of technical specification documents for changes made to system o Document processes as required when changes are being introduced to NetSuite o Occasional administrative changes to NetSuite as needed to make progress on the project, following standard change control processes in place *Skill set: * · *Education & Training* o University degree, preferably in the field of information management and a minimum of 10 years of IT systems experience *Skills and Experience:* · 4 years working experience with NetSuite for systems administration and systems development, including aspects of the following: · Understanding of IT systems, technologies, and processes · Proficiency with Excel and in running SQL queries · Attention to detail and love of working with data · Ability to manipulate large data sets · Ability to troubleshooting process issues and identify problem areas · Good communication skills including written and oral · Good organizational skills including IT tool utilization (spreadsheets, bug tracking systems) information capture, attention to detail, and prioritization · Flexible to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines; able to promptly and efficiently react to project or operational adjustments and alterations · Understanding of most or all standard objects in NetSuite (customers, transactions, projects, employees, etc), and their interactions with each other and reporting. · Design and implementation of customization of standard objects · Experience with requirements collection, design and implementation of custom objects (or standard object customizations) in NetSuite. · Experience writing SuiteScript modules, understanding its features and limitations, understanding performance implications create optimizations. · Experience writing SuiteFlow workflows, understanding its features and limitations. · Understanding of NetSuite standard reporting, its features and limitations, and ability to extend it with customization · Expertise in saved search design and its use to supplement reporting and analytics solutions · Basic to mid-level understanding of integrations with NetSuite · Understanding standard revenue (Accounts Receivables) module implementation in NetSuite. · Desired: Experience with customization of revenue module. · Desired: Experience with business intelligence and analytics solutions *Regards,* * Ning* *West Coast Consulting, LLC* *Work – 949 743 0065 x 202 • Direct -949 800 5351* *Fax – 714 844 9091 * *ning**@westcoastllc.com* <r...@westcoastllc.com> *www.westcoastllc.com* <http://www.westcoastllc.com/> -- -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
