· They are looking for someone with heavy VBA, VB Scripts and heavy
SQL Server Objects exp.
· This person is probably going to have VB.Net and SQL Server
Development exp.
*Position Summary: *
· This position designs, tests and implements solutions that support
a variety of needs within the Provider Operations area*. Responsibilities
include development and maintenance of application tools, monitoring file
processing and automation through Visual Basic Scripts, creating databases,
forms, queries, macros and reporting to meet business needs.* Strong
analytical skills to assess current DB environment and make
recommendations. This role requires technical expertise in various
technologies, languages and information system architectures. Effective
oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work
independently on multiple complex priorities. This individual must
independently and effectively manage expectations of multiple initiatives
with aggressive deadlines.
*Education/Relevant Experience:*
• BA or BS degree in Systems, IT, Business Management or
related experience
• Functional knowledge in Visual Basic Application, Visual
Basic Scripts, SQL and T-SQL
• General knowledge of Visual Studio, VB.net, C#, C++, Java,
QTP, HTML or TFS
• 5+ years with SQL Server designing databases, Visual Basic,
experience required
• 5+ years demonstrated analytical experience in system
development or process improvement
• 5+ years application/interface experience
• 3+ years programming/application development experience
• *Code, test, debug*, document and maintain (multiple)
moderately complex applications, *SQL Server Objects* and *VB Scripts*
using broadly defined specifications
• Prepare system test data
