*Phone/Skype Interview* *EAD GC, GC, USC only* *JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY * The Developer is responsible for using approved programming languages, operating systems and source code to create, enhance, and maintain application solutions that meet the identified functional and non-functional business requirements. Mapped to project teams in Grow/ Transform, Run/ Production Support, and Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS), this role will code, analyze, document, configure, unit test, maintain and support applications. *PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Development - Code/build application solutions from specifications provided by Requirements Analysts and Application Integration Architect. - Develop and execute unit tests and functional test coverage for assigned coding changes to ensure code quality. - Perform testing of application software modifications utilizing various programming platforms and productivity tools and review results for accuracy. - Perform coding and testing in multiple systems and/or processes. - Follow processes and procedures to ensure the quality of technical solutions. - Lead and/or provide assistance with presentations in code reviews. - Participate in broader technical reviews used to detect defects in requirements, design, code, test cases, or other project artifacts. · Perform documentation of all code changes. - Support Senior Developers in compiling detailed activity task management including recording work effort and providing estimates of time to complete tasks. · Support Senior Developers in the design and development of proof of concept and prototype application environments. - Develop and maintain code repositories according to established version management approaches and methods as defined. - Follow code construction fundamentals for coding practices, guideline for use of data, control-related concepts, and error-detection practices - Assist in identification and evaluation of risks; participate in mitigation and control activities. - Provide on-call support in support of systems and applications in production. - Perform production support activities including incident and problem management, code corrections, upgrades and patches. *OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * - Remain current on industry specific technologies and emerging trends. - Other duties as assigned. - The Associate Developer will have some familiarity or experience with the following tools and techniques that will be used as part of the position. - The Developer will be expected to have experience and be proficient in most of the following tools and techniques which will be used as an integral part of the position. - The Senior Developer will be expected to have advanced skills and knowledge with the majority of the tools and techniques listed below for this position. *Minimum Qualifications * - PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft HR/Payroll, PeopleTools, PeopleSoft Workflow, PeopleSoft Security and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture - Human Resource Management System (HRMS) processes including Recruiting, HR employment history, position management, leave accrual, benefit, time tracking and the payroll process to include pay, tax, and W-2 processing and reporting - Financials application including eProcurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Budget and General Ledger - Relational Databases DB2 and SQL Server PeopleSoft systems – maintenance, upgrades and customizations - Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, nVision, and XML publisher - SDLC , including techniques utilized in creating system requirements, performing analysis, producing designs, performing development, and assisting with testing and implementation - Purchased commercial systems – maintenance, upgrades and customizations - Client/server and Web Architectures - Hardware, - Networks - Debugging skills Regards, Parul Gupta, IT-Technical Recruiter P: 609-632-1299, E: pgu...@sourceinfotech.com 3840 Park Avenue, Suite C-205, Edison, NJ-08820 Hangout: <http://www.inceptdatasolutions.com/> guptaparul...@gmail.com *------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------* *Disclaimer:** If you are not interested in receiving our e-mails then please reply with a "REMOVE" in the subject line at * *rem...@sourceinfotech.com* <rem...@sourceinfotech.com> *for automatic removal.
