The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software product life
cycle including gathering business requirements, solution design &
analysis, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and
documentation.
Candidate will provide *senior level application development and support
for SAP BW/BI environment.*
*Primary Duties / Responsibilities*
· Must be able to work independently as well as in team
environment.
· Work with functional and technical teams to ensure
that business requirements can be supported by appropriate technical
solutions.
· Create design documents, technical specs and other
documents required during implementation life cycle and support.
· Design, develop, test, deploy and support SAP BW/BI
business solutions.
· Coordinate technical resolution with SAP, as well as
identifying internal technical and operational issues.
*Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)*
· 7+ years experience using SAP BW 7.0 and later version
· 5+ years SAP functional knowledge working with *SD
Data*
· 5+ years strong ABAP customization skills in BW and
extracting data from ECC
· Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and
reporting architecture
· Knowledge of SAP best practices and ASAP methodology
· Expertise in building data models as per business
requirement and supporting the project life cycle
· Team player with ability to work in association with
team members for successful implementation of projects
· Knowledge of Business Objects reporting
· Outbound development / customization using open hub
destinations
· Must be able to communicate with technical and
functional team members
· Must be able to work independently as well as in team
environment
*Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)*
· Must have a B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Sciences
or related field.
· A minimum of seven years of SAP BW /BI development
experience.
· Certifications in SAP technologies is a plus but not
necessary
