*Position:* Network Engineer
*Location:* Kansas City, MO
*Job Description*
We are looking for experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), CISCO
Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technology. The key individual is
one that has already implemented this technology, and is wanting to do it
again, only better.
*Required Skills*
ü Design, engineer, develop and deploy network infrastructure in the LAN /
WAN / DATACENTER NETWORK.
ü Understands Software Defined Networking (SDN)
ü Implementation exp in CISCO Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
technology
ü Develop network and processes to conform to approved standards
ü *10+ years* of network design and engineering experience on an advanced
network
ü Proven experience with large network design and development
ü Demonstrated proficiency with IOS, JunOS and hardware
ü Knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technology
ü Experience with BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM and RSTP/MSTP, MPBGP, MPLS, VPLS or
BGP/MPLS IPVPN
ü Programming experience with Perl and Python
ü Professional experience with QoS and queuing theory
ü Deep familiarity with Cisco routing and switching platforms, including
Nexus 7K/3K/2K, Catalyst 6500/4900/4500/3750, ISR/ASR routers
ü Deep familiarity with IP routing protocols, including BGP, and OSPF.
ü Working knowledge of IP Multicast, including PIM and IGMP
ü Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Cisco FWSM firewalls
ü Experience with F5 LTM/GTM
ü Experience working with Linux (Redhat/CentOS)
ü Developing reliable designs, documentation, and architecture diagrams
for high-performance, highly available networked systems providing
commercial services to DST customers.
