Provide alternatives to customizations based on best practices. * · *Initiate and recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Develop and ensure compliance with such standards and other technical documentation for project support activities. Understand industry practices and project policies and procedures relating to work assignments. Ensure that System Development Life Cycle and change management procedures are followed and documented to support system development and change requests. * · *Provide overall technical vision and strategy for the Project Application Development team during the CEMLI development and support effort.* · *Develop technical work plans and estimates for planned projects and drive completion of these projects to meet planned delivery dates.* · *Provide technical guidance and support to PMO and functional team on design recommendations* · *Manage development activities of the offshore development team.* · *Provide technical PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and PeopleTools 8.55 subject matter expertise and leadership to the team. Collaborate with other staff on complex technical issues and provide alternative solutions. * · *Lead and facilitate technical discussions with the functional teams.
