*Role Description:*
Team player, yet independent in their ability to drive new ideas within the
parameters outlined by the client. Candidate should be able to work with
technical resources and business stakeholders at all levels.
Technology Architect plays a lead role in the delivery of agile, safe and
sound technology designs and solutions, in accordance with enterprise
architecture, infrastructure and security standards to meet stakeholder
requirements.
*MUST have AWS Solution architect certification.*
*Summary: *
Strong knowledge/experience of the technology architecture
a. Network, Compute and Storage
b. 3 tier Web/App/DB Platforms
c. SoA platforms (EMS, Web Services, API Gateways)
d. Big Data (Hadoop et al)
e. Analytics (SAS, R, et al)
f. GRID/HPC platforms (ex: Symphony, etc)
g. Business Intelligence (BOXI, Microstrategy)
h. Data Virtualization
i. Datawarehouse
j. Resiliency and Recovery (RTO, RPO, Uptime, Durability, Replication,
Backup/Restore, etc)
K. AWS: IaaS and PaaS : AWS Service Catalog
L. Softlayer: IaaS and PaaS (including Baremetal as a Service)
M. Core Technology Services (ex: DNS, Directory, Encryption, IAM,
Monitoring, etc)
N. Platform Services (ex: AWS RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, etc)
O. Hybrid deployments (On-Prem + Cloud) – Emphasis on integration
2. Ability to document and work with
a. Frameworks
b. Patterns
c. Guidelines
d. Job aids
e. Workload Suitability evaluations
f. Presentations
3. Ability to use EA tools like MEGA for documenting and organizing
architecture artifacts
4. Strong verbal communication skills to face off with senior folks in the
company when required
5. Architecture Certifications (TOGAF, AWS Architecture, etc) preferred
