- *Duration 12+ months/ Long Term Contract*
*Position Requirements,*
· Successful leadership of projects
· Knowledge of *ITIL processes* (incident and change management)
· Working knowledge of data processing concepts and *financial
industry/banking operations practices*
· Work with development resources and coordinate upgrades in a fast
paced environment
· Ability to manage time, projects, and work priorities
· Install, configure and administer Oracle servers, including the
design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters, data recovery, and
user/group/role definition
· Extensive hands on experience with *Oracle RAC & HA*
· Implement patches, updates, and fixes as necessary following
established Change Management processes
· Coordinate with the Storage team in configuration of provisioned
storage resources
· Coordinate with the Network team in configuration of provisioned
data communication services
· Provide input to and follow standards and best practices as
defined by the vendor and other teams
· Working experience with replication technologies like *Oracle
Streams, CDC or Golden Gate*
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of IT and Oracle
database administration
· Develop scripts/utilities to automate repetitive tasks, i.e.
backups, refreshes, failover
· Expert knowledge of Oracle database management and administration
