*Position :* *SQL Developer*
*Location: Palo Alto, CA(Locals Only)*

Ø Build database from scratch all the way up to reporting
Ø Someone who understands API’s, data transfer, someone who has worked for
atleast or around 5 years in a business environment
Ø If they have SharePoint, as they need to integrate, that’s a big plus,
someone who can populate the database (single sign on)
Ø *Someone who can come in 2 times a week into office. client will let us
know what the project is about so the candidates can give an estimate of
how long it would take for them to finish the project. 40 hours a week role*
*Job Description:*
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*
· Excellent working knowledge of the functionality and capabilities
of MS SQL Server
· Database Administrator and very strong SQL Developer with
excellent T-SQL and experience of SQL Server Integration Services and
strong knowledge of ETL techniques
· Good experience of large-scale data migration projects with
multiple data sources and familiar with Extract-Transform-Load patterns and
processes
· Strong background in data modelling, data management and data
manipulation, code management and version control
· More than 5 years’ experience of SQL programming
· In depth experience of performance-tuning SQL Server and Oracle
databases code and environments
· Able to understand business requirements and develop SQL Server
solutions that work within the technical boundaries
· Self-motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job
done
· Capable of reasoning and thinking through problems and developing
desired solutions, independently or with others as required
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Minimum five years of related experience Or equivalent
combination of education and experience
· Understanding of business applications
· Experience developing software utilizing SDLC best practices
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to talk or hear.
· Routine and occasional travel requires driving and sitting in a
vehicle for moderate periods of time.
· Walking or standing within office area is routinely required;
bending, kneeling and stretching may be required for the operation of
equipment.
· The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and far
vision, color vision.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT*
· Job duties are performed in an office and home office using
standard office equipment such as a computer, printer, scanner, and
telephone.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to
high.
· Remote communication during non-office hours using a number of
tools to assist in connecting to the organization.
