• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports • Assist the team with refining data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize data/process/programmatic efficiency and quality • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems • Work with the team to prioritize business and information needs • Help the team locate/find and define new process improvement opportunities • Actually use the phone and online system to deliver specific products, whether for state or national office • Proven working experience as a data analyst • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques • Strong knowledge of and experience w/ reporting packets (report writer), databases (sql), programming like javascript may be helpful • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS or SAS) • Strong analytical skills w/ the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate signification amount of data/information with great attention to detail and accuracy. • Skillful at queries, report writing and presenting findings • Knowledge of Convio and/or similar systems for online communication • Knowledge of phone platforms and how to utilize them for advocacy communication -- What happens after you submit a resume for an open position?
