Hello,
I'm having a problem with RedHat
7.2, sapdb 7.3.0.18 (latest download) and loading data..
Basically, when loading using repmcli a file
containing zipcodes of over 300 megabytes, repmcli fails with an error stating
that the server closed the connection and further connections to the database
are not possible until a restart occurs.. (it seems to import quite a bit
of records then just dies).
Is there a good way to figure out what's going
on? it's definitely not a space issue as there's more than 10 gigabytes of
free space.. The MAXDATAPAGES variable on the db is set to 10 gigs
also..
I noticed that sapdb has a database trace function,
would it be a good idea to generate said log when this issue
happens?
There's another issue with it, basically I can't create a LOG of about 1 GIG, ie, I can create a log of about 512 MB, but can't create one that's over 1 GIG.. Moreover, I can't create trying to create 2 - 512 MB logs
doesn't work either - ie, can't create meaning Loading the System table
never completes when I create such a large log file (the dbinit part creates a
logfile of about 1 gig so it's not a space issue)..
Anybody else ran into the same problems with redhat 7.2 and sapdb
7.3.0.18?
