As I am new to this list, my apologies in advance if this is a known issue.
If I create my database without specifying a _UNICODE parameter everything appears to work fine. If I use the same database creation script with 'param_put _UNICODE YES' added, most things work. When I attempt to access this database with SQL Studio it appears to go into a loop after verifying the userid and password and before displaying the initial screen. Has anyone seen this behaviour before? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround? Thanks Peter
