Hello, a collegue could reproduce that -3014 error by submitting the update statement against a _non-unicode_ sapdb instance.
But you could execute the stmt via ODBC without getting an error, so i assumed you already use a UC db instance. Make sure that this is the case : use e.g. DBManager : select the db instance in question, select configuration at the left, select parameters. press the button with the yellow plus sign at the bottom to get a more detailed view. choose the extended tab.
