I'm trying to connect to TST demo database with no success. I use the
default dba account (dba, dba), but I get the same error even without
password.

I used the web interface (http://server/websql) and got the error:
ODBC-Error: [SAP AG][LIBSQLOD SO][SAP DB]Unable to connect to data
source;-709 CONNECT: (database not running). return-code: SQL_ERROR (-709)

I used and ODBC DSN from my WinXP box (using Access XP) with the same error
[SAP AG][LIBSQLOD SO][SAP DB]Unable to connect to data source;-709 CONNECT:
(database not running). (#-709) error in SQLSetConnectAttr function

I tried from SQLStudio with the same results.
Unable to connect to data source;-709 CONNECT

I had installed ODBC package after SQLStudio. So I tried to uninstall
SQLStudio and reinstall after (to force using SQLStudio driver), but with no
success.

The server is a Linux RedHat 6.2 with SAPdb 7.3.0.21.
The client is a WinXP machine with OfficeXP.
The database is the one created by the demo scripts. It is in warm state
before and after any ODBC connection attempt.
I can ever access the database from dbmcli, repmcli and Windows Database
Manager.

I also get a weird behaviour from SQLStudio and Database Manager when I'm
connected as limited user.
In SQLStudio, I can't get the popup window to initialize the connection (so
the program is useless) and in Database Manager I get a popup window at
startup with the message
Error: RC=5 .dbm
and the program locks for a while and if I try to close it, I get an error
message saying
OlePendingRequest
In any case, after a while, the software starts responding and works fine.

Here are all software versions:
SAPdb Kernel 7.3.0.21
SQLStudio 7.3-2.11.15.0
DBMGui 2.11.15.0
ODBC 7.3-2.11.15

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
David Ciarniello
