   Actually, I copied all the files installed by ODBC Driver, but I didn't
execute the odbcreg.exe but instead I created my own registry entries to do
the same task and it works perfect for me. 
  Thanks for your help, I will try that method now. Sounds easier as I dont
have to create any registry entries manually in that case. 
  Just for information, there is another way to do that, you can use the
installers to register the ODBC driver for you. I just found that out, so
now I have three methods to do the same task. Thanks.

After installation of the ODBC driver, you find the program
odbcreg.exe in the install directory. This program registers
the driver. Try "odbcreg -h" for the options.

To install the driver, copy the files somehow and call odbcreg
afterwards. This will work without popups.
