Hi, I have SAP DB 7.3 set up on a Linux machine running Debian Woody. For the most part, it runs fine but I can't access my database from SQL Studio (on a Windows machine), web SQL studio or ODBC (local or remote). I get this error from a local Web SQL:
ODBC-Error: [SAP AG][LIBSQLOD SO][SAP DB]Unable to connect to data source;-709 CONNECT: (database not running). return-code: SQL_ERROR (-709). I get very similar messages from ODBC and SQL Studio on Windows. I have tried re-installing the database, re-installing ODBC on the clients, re-installing SQL Studio using different machines etc. I hit the same problem every time. Funny thing is that I can access the database no problem from JDBC, as well as dbmcli, dbmgui (on a remote Windows machine) and web dbm gui. Any ideas? Thanks, Jonathan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
