Hello!
Using SAPDB 7.4.3.17 on W2K, I am trying to get a log of all executed sql
statements. Therefore I switched on kernel trace for
"SELECT,INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE". According to a thread on the list, I tried to
decode the trace using

xkernprot -d <dbname> AK

it says
reading: ....\knltrace.dat
creating: TSTDB.rpt

but I end up with a
*** ERROR -903: HOST FILE OPEN ERROR, wrong file or device name

what am I doing wrong? the knltrace.dat is existing in that place, an
.rpt-file containing just a headline is created. I don't know what lead to
the error.

What I am trying to do is to get a trace that tells me which query needed
how much (cpu and absolute) time. Is kernel trace and xkernprot the right
way to do this anyway?

Thanks!
(Gerald)
