I'm trying to migrate my Access 97 Database to an Access/SAPDB solution. But
at the moment I'm stucked. I've created all tables in my SAPDB and
transferred successfully the existing data from my access to my SAPDB
tables.

I only have problems that i couldn't solve. I'm using Access from Office XP SP2 and no matter which table i link into my Database, i cannot view the data. If i don't link the table but if i import them, i get text columns instead if integer etc.
I don't really need Access, but i'd like to use it to watch, edit and export data to other formats.

Now I'm trying to get my forms working, but I've been faced with different
problems and I don't know in which direction I should look for a solution
(I've tested automatic linking (= VBA-Code) of the tables, manual linking
(File->ext. Data...) and without any linking). So if anybody is out there
who has experience with such a "migration" it would be great if (s)he would
contact me. I don't even know, if I should drop Access as frontend and
choose an other approach?

Well, Access Forms are sometimes simple to create. Any other approach that i can imagine means more work - much more work.
