http://listserv.sap.com/pipermail/sapdb.general/2003-August/039802.html though it belongs to the SAP-testdb, since them I have no problems with starting my database on a RH 9 Box. If I know it right it belongs to the new glibc, so you pretend that it's an older glibc-version. Hope that helps.
