Dear SAP DB users, As announced by Joerg Hoffmeister, this list will by itself move to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The old list is still active, but the transition will happen soon, probably by next weekend. The transition has a "hard border", i.e. now, only the old list works, and after the transition, only the new list works.
No action is required on your part to remain on the list. All subscribers will be moved automatically, and an initial list management message including unsubscription information will be posted on the new list. IMPORTANT: WHEN NOTIFIED, SEND ALL EMAILS TO THE NEW LIST! Starting from when the list has been moved (and we will notify you as soon as the list has moved), you can no longer send messages to the old [EMAIL PROTECTED] list but will have to send your new messages to the new [EMAIL PROTECTED] list. SAP and MySQL have tried to explore ways of having emails automatically forwarded from the old list to the new in a way that prevents us from getting much more spam, but we couldn't come up with any good automated system. This means that you will manually have to change the address both for new messages and for replies to old ones. We apologise for the inconvenience. Should you anyway send emails to the old list (for instance, not having noticed this email), you will get an automatic notification to please resend the mail to the new address. Sorry about that. Email Filtering Rules --------------------- Even if you mostly read the list and don't regularly send messages, you might still want to change your email filtering rules, if you now filter the list messages to a particular folder based on the present name of the list. We apologise for that inconvenience. List Archives ------------- The existing archives will be be transitioned to http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb -- however, that is not done yet. Completion will be announced separately. See you all in the new list at MySQL!
