The google checkout process isn't documented very well. There is some documentation here - http://www.satchmoproject.com/docs/dev/payment.html#google-checkout
There is also a readme here - http://www.bitbucket.org/chris1610/satchmo/src/tip/satchmo/apps/payment/modules/google/readme.txt Which should be integrated into the above documentation. If you wouldn't mind opening up a ticket with your comments on how to improve the docs, I would appreciate it.
