Hi, I am working on cleaning up all the templates in satchmo and implementing Pinax style theming. Also I separated base.html and use the Pinax style inheritance. As to generic, I am trying to create a clean css inheritance so it should be very easy to change the look and feel through the stylesheet (hopefully) easily. In this process I will rewrite a few of my themes to use satchmo-themes layout. I am also using 960.gs for the layout. I have been using it for awhile and really like how easy it makes complicated layouts.
