Yeah that's very strange. I just two options:
1. Are you you don't have another middleware that should called after ? I don't know why but sometime it help... 2. Are your error came from the "SSL" keyword ? Is really explicit in your stacktrace ? Maybe you should double check with DEBUG=True what's the status your variables for request.
