Please, no. Your info is good for people, who were thinking about how to help you, me also. New users should NOT be adviced to edit something in /usr/local/lib under root account. An original template needed to be modified should be copied to localsite/templates (e.g. .../payment/templates/shop/checkout/ form.html to your/project/store/localsite/templates/shop/checkout/), which was expected by Stuart as an usual and documented solution. You need not to modify other things (TEMPLATE_DIRS) to use localsite/ templates, if you installed Satchmo v0.9.1 or newer. When documented customizations are not enough, *virtualenv* is recommended to create a new isolated Satchmo environment.
