I'm looking for advice here. Our company provides branded wholesale VoIP service. Some key highlights of our wholesale requirements are:
1. Each wholesale agreement determines which services are available and the prices of each service 2. Each wholesale customer's products and pricing are confidential and not accessible to other wholesale customers or the general public 3. Wholesale customers can order new service for their customers and bypass all payment, billing and shipping items during the checkout process Item 1 and 2 are easy because django-threaded-multihost will provide the constructs for each wholesale customer to have their own store. Item 3 is where I need some advice. What I'm thinking I'd like to do is to create a "member's only" store where you must login to even access the store (kind of like having a Sam's Club membership card). Login accounts would not be created automatically, meaning users could not create accounts themselves, but rather our site admin would create logins for each member's only store. The reason for this is that we bill the wholesale customer directly, on a recurring basis, for any and all services that they order and this billing happens in our billing system. We do this because the end-user is not ours to bill. Therefore we have no need to capture billing, shipping and payment information for these wholesale orders. So it it possible to teach Satchmo how to: 1. Require a login to access the web store 2. Disable the ability for users to create their own login accounts 3. Bypass all payment, shipping and billing steps when checking out Regards, Paul -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Satchmo users" group.
