I hope, that this is fixed now by https://bitbucket.org/bkroeze/django-livesettings/issue/18/installation-problems-with-syncdb-or or at least much clearer, if there was more problems. This patch should be final. I made also compatibility changes for Django 1.3 and a change in clonesatchmo, because if syncdb by accident fails, more commands would just muck a report without success. https://bitbucket.org/chris1610/satchmo/issue/1279/compatibility-with-django-13#comment-430997
