Hi guys, I have encountered a very serious error in Satchmo, not sure if anyone else can reproduce it. Here are the steps:
1. Deploy a new clone of the satchmo skeleton, as usually 2. Go into the admin, and under Product Variations click on one of the variations that Satchmo comes with to open the form for editing that object 3. Click Save and Continue Editing What I get is the following situation: 1. The form reports " * This field is required." for the Parent field 2. The Parent field is grayed out and cannot be changed. I have tried as I might, but there simply is no way to edit a ProductVariation. I have tried setting up my own ProductVariations, to no effect. Does anyone else run into this issue? My configuration is Django 1.3, newest Satchmo. I have also set up a similar situation in stock Django (a model and another model extending it via a OneToOneField) and it has had no problems. It is absolutely necessary for me to be able to edit ProductVariations, since one of my objectives is to extend the ProductVariations with more metadata by using StackedInlines. I'm fairly scared this might not work and I'm not sure where to begin to try and fix this. Thanks for any help, D. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Satchmo users" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
