Hi,

At the FSF, we are currently using Satchmo 0.7 with Django 0.97 for
our
shop.fsf.org which we would like to upgrade to Satchmo 0.9.1.

For this purpose, we have set up a development machine where we
installed
Django 1.3 and Satchmo 0.9.1. Initially, we have tried dumping our
current postgres
database and restoring it on our development machine with South, but
we
have gotten a lot of errors. Our sense is that these two versions of
Satchmo
are too far apart to be able to achieve a direct database migration
like that.
Is our intution correct?

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed with this
upgrade? Would incremental
Satchmo upgrades (0.7 -> 0.8 -> 0.9 -> 0.9.1) be a more effective
strategy?

Thanks,
Martin
